This 355 Chevy crate engine is ideal for serious street performance. Our basic 355 Chevrolet performance crate engines boast an honest 355+ horsepower and 375+ torque and run on premium pump gas. This engine will give you the reliability you want for your street cruiser while still having the power you need.
Note: Headers are highly recommended for this application. If you are using stock exhaust manifolds please notify us with your order to ensure proper fitment.

This engine is supplied with a 4 bolt main block.
The Dressed Chevy Longblock build comes with timing cover, oil pan, harmonic balancer and polished Tri Star valve covers installed. This build allows you to use your own intake, carburetor and distributor.
This part number is recommended for street use and runs on premium pump gas with a compression ratio of approximately 9.5:1.

Your choice of a new GM 4 bolt main block or seasoned remanufactured block. Selecting new block option does not change crankshaft or connecting rods.
Stress relieved 4 bolt main block is completely CNC machined in our state of the art CNC machining center. The block is fully align honed and torque plate honed, then assembled with brass frost plugs and pressure tested.
