Inside Sales RepresentativeJob Description:

We have an opening for an Inside Sales Representative in our Sales Division. Candidate must possess excellent computer skills as well as exceptional telephone sales techniques for contacting existing customers and potential new customers. Ideal candidate must have experience in the automotive industry (specifically powertrain products). A positive, upbeat outlook and approach is required.

Bi-lingual (Spanish) skills would be ideal but not required.

All inside sales representatives are paid an excellent base wage plus commission

Hours: Monday – Friday (Full-Time)

Inside Sales RepresentativeResponsibilities:

  • Sourcing new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound calls and emails
  • Understanding customer needs and requirements
  • Close sales and achieve monthly quotas
  • Research accounts, identify key players and generate interest
  • Maintain and expand your database of prospects within your assigned territory
  • Develops accounts by checking customer's buying history; suggesting related and new items; explaining technical features.
  • Maintain communication equipment by troubleshooting, reporting, and tracking problems.
  • Maintain and improves quality results by following standards; recommending improved policies and procedures.
  • Updates job knowledge by studying new product descriptions; participating in educational opportunities.
  • Accomplish department and organization goals by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
  • Utilizing CRM and other resources to track interaction with leads and customers
  • Working with other sales representatives to maximize sales for the company as a whole
  • Processing orders with superb accuracy including completing quotations via phone or email, converting quotations to orders, entering required information on orders, scheduling production of orders, collecting payment, and submitting a shipping request for orders.

Inside Sales Representative Work requirements:

  • Sitting at a desk for the majority of the work day
  • General computer work including typing and looking at a monitor for the majority of the workday
  • Working in a fast paced and stressful environment with competing deadlines and changing priorities
  • Speaking on the phone for most of the workday
  • Using problem solving skills to fix issues that arise
  • Must have excellent computer skills to be considered
  • Must have a strong understanding of automotive industry and powertrain products
