Block Options

New GM block

For this 383 build we start with a brand new GM 4 bolt main block, freshly cast for your high performance engine.

You have the option of a 2 piece rear main seal block (used on production 350 engines before 1986) or a 1 piece rear main seal block (used on production 350 engines 1986 and later). Both builds feature a high quality Fel-Pro® rear main seal to virtually eliminate possible oil leaks.

This engine is supplied with a NEW GM 4 bolt main block of your choice; 2 piece or 1 piece rear main seal design.

The Complete & Dyno'd build level comes fully dressed with timing cover, oil pan, Tri Star polished aluminum valve covers, harmonic balancer, intake, carburetor, distributor, spark plugs and wires. For this build level we test each engine on our own in house dynamometer; you get the dyno sheet from the actual engine sold to you.

The 383 stroker high performance crate engine is recommended for the street cruiser that spends some time at the drag strip. Get big block power from a small block engine with this 383 stroker!

Stress relieved 4 bolt main block is completely CNC machined in our state of the art CNC machining center. The block is fully align honed and torque plate honed, then assembled with brass frost plugs and pressure tested. These blocks are 100% brand new.
